Our primary project has been the revival of the Chromcraft Airport Benches that lived in PDX Airport for over 30 years, but we also love refinishing and reupholstering mid-century modern and vintage furniture.

“The three partners involved actually met playing soccer in Portland, and found further commonalities over a shared passion for furniture and design. The opportunity to acquire the Chromcraft airport benches from Portland International gave us the drive to create PDXoriginals, with a focus on working with local makers to build a design and furniture with an eye on sustainability and functionality.”

Office lobby at Boly: Welch
We recently replaced the office lobby furniture with a variety of our models in the Boly:Welch office in the Power and Light building in downtown Portland. We updated the original Chromcraft airport bench with durable, commercial grade fabric and Sapele wood tables and armrests.
Bar Stools at Portland Food Hall & Bar Miranda
PDXoriginals designed and fabricated the swivel bar stool base, and updated the original Chromcraft airport bench seat with powder coated accents and updated upholstery.
Do503 & TEDxPortland Office in the Fair Haired Dumbbell Building
We outfitted the Do503 & TEDxPortland office with a variety of our updated Chromcraft furniture pieces and some Hollywood Regency Vintage Brass & Glass Table Sets. Need to get updated pictures.
