To the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) in our community and in our world, we stand with you. We hear you, condemn systemic inequity and racism with you, and will work to fight it with you. As individuals and as a company we are investing in the hard work to grow, learn, and join the movement in thoughtful, actionable ways. Over the coming days and weeks we will be confronting these difficult conversations and continue to develop ways to be actively Anti-Racist within our company and through our platform.
June 1-7 we participated in #amplifymelanatedvoices. We muted our regular content and paused all paid social media ads. In its place, we used our platform to direct attention to black-owned architecture and design firms.
Articulating our support is not enough. We have committed to meeting weekly as a company to discuss our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policies and practices. We will make clear decisions about our areas of focus, and then create measurable ways for our platform to support those objectives. We believe in doing the hard work here. The work that takes time and intention so that it can result in lasting change. As we come to carefully considered, well-researched decisions we will make them publicly available on this page.
